    System will support Counter Fraud Data Alliance in cross-sector effort to fight fraud. The Cabinet Office has begun to work on the development of a repository for public and private sector organisations to share data on ‘known fraud’.

    The figures, released by City of Wolverhampton Council's audit and risk committee, show in 2017 there has been a total of 13,526 matches between the council's records and a government database set up to detect fraud.
