More than 183,000 fraudulently claimed disabled parking badges have been taken out of circulation. More than £2bn worth of taxpayers’ cash has been rescued from the hands of benefit cheats, unscrupulous public sector fraudsters and those taking advantage of the system for their own financial gain.
