Daniel White - Chief Commercial Officer, Synalogik
A tenant of Citadel Chambers since 2003 and Co-Founder of Synalogik Innovative Solutions, Daniel specialises in the prosecution of all grave criminal offences. Appointed to the AG's unified list and a Grade 4 specialist fraud prosecutor.
In addition to his work in the criminal sector, Daniel sits on sports tribunals for a variety of Governing bodies, including the RFU, World Rugby & Sport Resolutions.
In 2018, Daniel Co-Founded Synalogik with experts from the intelligence and policing community. Synalogik provide data aggregation, automation and risk identification software solutions for compliance and fraud investigations. At Synalogik, Daniel holds the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
Jason Talbot - Gateway Liaison Officer, Intelligence Team, The Insolvency Service
Before joint the Insolvency Service in late 2021, Jason spent over 17 years in HM Revenue & Customs, working in a range of roles through compliance, Criminal and Financial investigation and Intelligence.
The majority of his career has been in frontline law enforcement investigating a myriad of frauds, Organised Crime, financial Crime and money laundering cases. Much of this work has involved international jurisdictions, disguised corporate networks and the abuse of UK company structures, and has includes sanctions evasion, terrorist financing and PEP cases.
He also spent 18 months within HMRC’s Intelligence division where his investigation and financial experience and expertise was used to full effect in targeting cases for both Civil and Criminal interventions across all HMRC streams.
Jason brings a lot of experience to the Insolvency Service and his current role as Gateway Liaison Officer sits within the Intelligence directorate, where his role is to facilitate and assist in the gathering of best intelligence and evidential with external partners such as HMRC, NCA, Police forces, UKBF, GAIN and Companies House in support of all Criminal Investigations. In this role he and his colleagues have been working closely with Synalogik to ensure that newly obtained SCOUT OSINT tools are embedded and used to maximum effect in support of a wide range of INSS interventions.
Ryan Gordon – Senior Policy Advisor for ROE, Companies House.
Ryan Gordon is a Senior Policy Advisor at Companies House, he has worked on the implementation and development of several key pieces of company law including the Companies Act 2006, the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015, the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement Act) 2015, and related regulations. Recently, he has been heavily involved with the development and implementation of the Register of Overseas Entities.
Lee Robins – Senior Enforcement Service Manager, Companies House
Service Manager for Enforcement, Chartered Manager and career civil servant with over 30 years’ experience in Companies House. In January 2016 Lee worked on the People with Significant Control (PSC) legislation, setting up and leading the Companies House compliance efforts. In 2018 he was heavily involved in the UK’s successful FATF assessment and in 2019-20 he led the Companies House elements of the 5MLD transposition concerning discrepancy reporting. In his current role he is now working hard to prepare for the challenges that will come from the biggest changes that Companies House has seen since 1844.
