MIDLANDS FRAUD FORUM LIMITED ("MFF") MEMBERSHIP PRIVACY POLICY How we will use your information when you give your data to MFF, (Data Controller), or you sign up to a membership, subscription, sponsorship or attendance to a MFF event. Below explains why we process your personal information, how we store and use it and who we may share it with, and what your rights are. Why we process your personal information. By consenting to us holding your information we can administer memberships, subscriptions and attendance and therefore be in a position to inform you about events, membership related issues and fraud related issues. Who is your data shared with. We do not make your information available for marketing but will use it to inform you of membership events and membership training opportunities which we consider are appropriate. Where our sponsors/third party may have information to disseminate to you we will always do this through our own database without passing your details to the sponsor/third party. Where we produce a delegate list for an event we will only show the name and organisation of those attending. How we store your information. The personal information you consent to give us is stored on our management database. This database is used by MFF to administer membership activities and to keep in touch with those past members, attendees and participants in our mailing lists. This is a fully maintained system and there are procedures and policies in place in order to keep your information protected from misuse in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. How long we keep your information for. Your information is kept in accordance with our retention policy. If you have consented for us to contact you about future events, then we will maintain your record until you tell us you would like us to delete it. Your rights You have the right to see the information we hold on you at any time, by submitting a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) to our MFF Privacy Correspondent at the details below. You may also request to opt out of any of these services or have your details deleted from the database at any time, again by contacting the Privacy Correspondent at the above email or in writing and letting us know what your preferences are.
