A "low-level conman" from Northamptonshire has been jailed after taking money for DIY work he never even started. Alan Fitzgerald, 55, previously of Raunds, appeared at Northampton Crown Court today (July 15).

A conman from Cheshire has been been jailed for his part in a £22m pension fraud. Mark Kelly, 51, of Maplewood Road, Wilmslow, and his accomplice, Rikki Nicholls from Bromsgrove, were both sentenced to a total of six years in prison.
