A woman identified as Jia from Hong Kong approached him shortly after, and the two began Dating. He explained that he and his date had been talking about their future plans. Jia also pretended to be a successful cryptocurrency investor with insider trading knowledge in order to entice the man into fantasising about living an affluent lifestyle with her. It was flagging up issues for me, the man said, but all she was trying to build up trust with me was enough to keep me there.
