Fraudsters are targeting elderly and vulnerable people with a vaccine scam and asking for bank details or cash payments for access to vaccines that are fake or non-existent.

A father-of-five has been sentenced for a number of ‘crash for cash’ plots which could have cost four of the UK’s biggest insurers over £35,000. The fraudster used fake names and addresses, including those of his own family members.
