Our readers have also asked us to check this. This is a real scam that members of the public should be aware of. The real vaccine is free and the NHS will never ask for your financial details in order to receive it.

ActionFraud – the UK’s national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre has issued a warning over a coronavirus vaccine scam, after receiving a high volume of reports phishing emails this week.
There has been a growing number of reports from people who have received an automated phone call which states that their National Insurance number has been “compromised”. The recipients are then instructed to “press one on their handset to be connected to the caller”, which will allegedly fix the problem and even be issued a new National Insurance number.
